We know that although polypropylene material has good mechanical properties, its ability to resist natural aging itself is very poor. If you want to maintain a relatively long-term performance, scientific and reasonable addition of additives is an inevitable choice. If the use of recycled materials, one is difficult to control the composition, the finished product performance is not easy to grasp. The second is that the molecular chain is plasticized twice or even repeatedly, even if the "anti-aging agent" effect is uncontrollable.
Third, anti-natural aging is an unpopular subject involving many theories and complex mechanisms. Many people are not deeply involved, but it is about anti-aging of plastic woven products. In the 7th issue of "China Plastics" in 1998, there was an article "Preliminary Study on Anti-natural Aging of Polypropylene Fabrics" discussing the mechanism and effect. The main points are:
1, the fabric to add anti-aging agent and do not add anti-aging agent, the use of the effect is significantly different;
2, there are several domestic brands of raw materials in the case of no additives, than the general raw material performance is relatively strong;
3. The means of adding additives to the raw materials is very important, not only to stir evenly, but also to ensure that it can enter the barrel;
4, the proportion of additives should be appropriate, less effect is not obvious, more is a waste;
5, stabilizer grade should be appropriate. The wavelength to be prevented by the additive should be the sensitive wavelength of all raw materials;
6, determine the appropriate stretch ratio, in the premise of meeting the strength requirements, maintain sufficient elongation, and make it consistent;
7. When the finished fabric is relatively thick, the performance loss is relatively small;
8. The aging resistance of the film material is better than that of the non-film material, and the PE film is better than the PP film;
9, the product surface is better than the product surface is wrinkled;
10, elongation (appropriate) is better than the elongation of small;
11, the strength of the fiber flat wire is lower than that of the non-fiber;
12. The anti-aging performance of the product should be determined according to the climatic characteristics of the area where it is used.
