Automotive plastics include modified PP, PA6, PA66, heat‑resistant ABS, PA/ABS, PC/ABS, ASA, PC/PET, PET/PBT, and PPS, and are extensively used in automotive components such as bumpers, instrument panels, interior and exterior trim parts, engine‑related assemblies, air‑conditioning systems, and lighting fixtures.

Automotive plastics include modified PP, PA6, PA66, heat‑resistant ABS, PA/ABS, PC/ABS, ASA, PC/PET, PET/PBT, and PPS, which are extensively used in automotive components such as bumpers, instrument panels, interior and exterior trim parts, engine‑related assemblies, air‑conditioning systems, and lighting fixtures.

From the perspective of automotive interior plastic materials, instrument panels typically use PP, ABS, or ABS+PC; door inner panels are mostly made from PP, PP+EPDM, ABS, or PC/ABS; defogging grilles, handles, and glove boxes are generally crafted from ABS, PC/ABS, or PP; and air‑conditioning vents are usually manufactured from ABS, PC/ABS, or PET.

Heat‑resistant ABS: high heat resistance, a balanced combination of rigidity and toughness, and excellent spray‑coating and electroplating properties; used in automotive air‑conditioning vents.

PET enhanced grade: excellent mechanical properties, good dimensional stability, high heat resistance, superior surface gloss, and excellent color stability; used in automotive air-conditioning vents.

From the perspective of automotive interior plastic properties, there are antibacterial materials and antistatic materials. Antibacterial materials include PP, PC/ABS, and others; they offer high strength, excellent toughness, and inhibit the growth of bacteria and mold, making them suitable for automotive interiors. Antistatic materials, on the other hand, feature high strength, superior toughness, long-lasting antistatic performance, dyeability, low cost, and glass-fiber reinforcement.

Low-VOC, scratch-resistant PP/EPDM+T20 is used for instrument panels and door panels; electroplated PC/PBT and PC/PBT+GF are employed for door handles and bases; and electroplated ABS and PC/ABS are utilized for center console trim components.
