  Compared with the conventional method of directly piling sludge in open disposal areas, geotextile tube technology offers the following advantages: it is cost‑effective, requiring no large‑scale equipment or dedicated facilities and only a small team of non‑specialized operators; on‑site sludge dewatering does not rely on electricity, delivering energy‑saving and emission‑reducing benefits; and it is highly versatile, with tube diameter and length easily adjustable to meet specific needs, allowing for flexible stacking and convenient transportation.

  Environmentally friendly, with fully enclosed construction that generates virtually no noise and minimizes the risk of secondary pollution. Highly efficient, it can handle the full volume of wastewater and sludge; the processing capacity can be adjusted by increasing or decreasing the number of tube bags in accordance with the pump flow rate. It delivers excellent volume reduction, shrinking sludge volume by more than 90% within a month.

  Subsequent removal and disposal become more cumbersome. Geotextile tube technology has a wide range of applications, being extensively used in mining, wastewater and sludge management at chemical plants, municipal sludge treatment, sludge handling at wastewater treatment facilities, as well as for dewatering and subsequent treatment of contaminated bottom sediments dredged from rivers, lakes, reservoirs, seaports, and docks.
