Polypropylene anti-corrosion tape is a new, environmentally friendly material that is non-polluting and harmless. It boasts easy application, impact resistance, aging resistance, tensile strength, UV resistance, and high adhesive strength, making it an excellent choice for cold‑applied pipeline corrosion protection—and a cost‑effective solution as well.
It can be widely used in the water supply and drainage systems of the petroleum, natural gas, chemical, and urban construction sectors, as well as in the external corrosion protection and repair of steel pipelines for oil, gas, and coal‑gas transportation and of underground steel storage tanks. The base material of the polypropylene‑fiber anti‑corrosion tape is a unique modified polypropylene woven fabric, with a butyl rubber‑modified asphalt layer serving as the protective adhesive.
